Housing Specialist
HAPHousing is searching for a Housing Specialist in our growing prevention and rapid re-housing program to divert at-risk or homeless families from entering shelter.  Responsibilities include assessment, triage, education, housing search, referral, problem solving, and case management.  Strong candidates will have related experience with target population, knowledge of social service and housing programs, excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and computer skills, and reliable transportation.  Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.  Wage range $13.75 - $16.09/hr plus excellent benefits.  Resumes accepted until positions are filled.  Send cover letter and resume to HR@haphousing.org or Human Resources, HAPHousing, 322 Main Street, Springfield, MA  01105.

Director of Resource Development
HAPHousing is seeking a Director of Resource Development.  Responsibilities include:  Establishing annual funding objectives; grant writing agenda, and the organization's other fund raising activities.  Director must be able to manage day-to-day operations of the development department.  Strong candidates will have marketing experience, and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff, the community, investors and contributors.  Bachelor's degree plus 5 - 7 years fund raising experience required.  Salary between $59,000 - $75,000 depending on education and experience, plus excellent benefits.  Resumes accepted until position is filled.  Send cover letter and resume to HR@haphousing.org or Human Resources, 322 Main Street, Springfield, MA  01105.

Community Engagement Coordinator
HAPHousing is seeking a Community Engagement Director to foster engagement in neighborhood revitalization and implementation of the Re-Build Springfield Master Plan.  Responsibilities include: coordinating with neighborhood revitalization partners, supporting meaningful and sustainable resident engagement; and collaborating with HAPHousing's Real Estate Development Team and a broad array of partners to facilitate neighborhood re-building and revitalization.  Coordinator must be able to identify emerging community issues, propose solutions and facilitate decision making; and will oversee consultants and volunteers in fostering neighborhood engagement.  Strong written and verbal communication required.  Bachelor's degree and 3 - 5 years relevant experience required.  Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred.  Salary between $42,000 - $50,000 depending on education and experience plus excellent benefits.  Resumes accepted until position is filled.  Send cover letter and resume to HR@haphousing.org or Human Resources, 322 Main Street, Springfield, MA  01105.

On Site Management Representative
Janitor/Light Maintenance (Full-Time)
HAPHousing is searching for an on-site, live-in Janitor for a beautiful, new 27 unit rental property located right off route 116 in Amherst, MA.  This position will also include several other multi-unit properties in the region.  Basic upkeep of units and some light maintenance work required, as well as the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.  Minimum 3 years janitorial or maintenance-related experience.  Must be committed to teamwork and customer service, have good communication skills, a valid license and a reliable vehicle. Time Off
Vacations: 2 weeks (year one); 3 weeks (year two); 4 weeks (year six)
