Orientation to Homeownership

Lighting the Path to Achieving Your Goals

Does your path to owning a beautiful home seem out of reach?

Do you need help figuring out how to increase your credit and develop a more sustainable budget?

Do you want to learn about the road to homeownership from someone you can trust?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the time to start planning your future is now.

Through programs and services offered at HAPHousing, our clients learn how to approach new opportunities with confidence and well-informed decision-making. If you're looking to learn how to sustain a proper balance of income and expenses, or if you're interested in finding out how credit affects your goal planning, we offer a series of financial fitness courses to develop the basics of banking and budgeting, followed by a workshop on credit awareness and building your financial capabilities.

Upon completion of the basics, you'll be assigned to one of our experienced housing counselors who will follow your progress with 1-on-1 attention and guidance. By pulling your credit report and working with you on your finances, our counselors will help you develop and maintain an action plan for addressing the steps toward achieving your goals, with the knowledge and expertise you need to help you maximize your financial potential.

At this orientation session, you'll get an overview of HAPHousing's programs and services, where you'll be able to choose your path, whether it's a new home or a new car, whether you want to manage your expenses or you need help building your credit history. You will be assigned a counselor who will monitor your progress, and you'll have someone who cares about your goals and wants to help you achieve them.

Goals you can reach. Service you can trust.

It's time to light your path.
