On Saturday, June 23,2012 Household Essentials teamed up with WMAS 94.7 to hold a furniture drive at the Basketball Hall of Fame parking lot for tornado survivors and other families being moving from homelessness. Not only did donors meet us in the parking lot with an enormous variety of items upon our arrival, they continued to show up throughout the day. One family drove in with their boat in tow, filled to capacity with donations. We were thrilled to be able to fill two trucks with useful, gently used furniture and household goods, all of which will be distributed to HAPHousing clients from our Ludlow warehouse.  For more information about Household Essentials and how you can donate, click herefor media coverage of the furniture drive, click here
